OUR HISTORY

Molinari Bruno has its roots in Modena, where in 1939 Bruno Molinari founded the company as a sole proprietorship specializing in the production of leather goods.

In 1950, the company expanded its business by introducing the production of ski gloves, later becoming an industry leader in Italy, the United States, Switzerland, Japan, Austria, and Germany starting in 1954.

In 1974, the company was transformed into a Società in Accomandita Semplice (limited partnership). Even before the establishment of the POOL Sci Italia, the company supported the “Consortium of Friends of Azzurro Skiing” and later became part of the Italian-Swedish and Swiss POOLs, sponsoring athletes like Stenmark, Thoeni, Gros, and the legendary “Valanga Azzurra”, the Italian national ski team. In more recent years, ski champions such as Alberto Tomba, Isolde Kostner, and Giorgio Rocca have contributed to the development of gloves, ensuring a perfect balance between quality and functionality.

In 1985, starting from the ski sector, the company expanded its traditional production by adding motorcycle gloves to its range, in collaboration with Dainese S.p.A. and BMW AG, and later cycling and leisure gloves, combining the brand’s tradition, quality, technology, and consumer protection guarantees. Today, part of the production is dedicated to gloves for municipal police forces and ministerial bodies, with specific tailored models.

The production of each item is carefully overseen down to the smallest detail at every stage of the manufacturing process, in order to achieve a fully handcrafted product that embodies the history, culture, and art of manufacturing passed down from generation to generation.

Every phase is carried out manually, with the support of traditional sewing machines, and requires attention, precision, and great care. The materials and techniques used always take environmental impact into account, with particular attention to optimizing consumption and minimizing unsorted waste. We work closely with laboratories and artisans specialized in glove-making, selected for their expertise and reliability, carefully checking every stage of production: from the choice of leathers to the precision of stitching, through to finishing and packaging.

Quality control is continuous and structured: we monitor, test, and intervene promptly to ensure that every glove meets requirements for fit, comfort, and durability, without compromise.
